How can a reader be allowed into the Library?
A reader must formally register with the Library on presentation of his staff Identity Card (staff) and admission letter (students).
How does a reader borrow a book?
When you find a book you want to borrow, take it to the Circulation Desk. Complete the transaction slips as directed by the Circulation Assistant (by writing your name, signature and address legibly on the borrower’s slip). Hand in the transaction slip, the book and a borrower’s ticket to the Assistant who will stamp the date-due to the transaction slip are well as on the date-due label at the inside back cover of the book and then return the book to the borrower.
Can users have access to past issues of Newspaper?
Yes, This is because the library binds together each complete title of the Newspaper bought by the Library at the end of every month. Presently, the Library has in it’s holding, the previous four years' titles.
Is the use of laptop allowed in the Library?
Yes, readers are allowed to bring in their laptops mainly for research but not for non-academic purposes.
Can users access any of the e-resources in the Library?
Yes, but this will be possible after the user must have collected password and the username from the ICT Unit.
