The Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of Governing Council of the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA), Brigadier-General Raji Rasaki and the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Adebisi Balogun have congratulated the new Vice-Chancellor of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko, Prof. Femi Mimiko on his well deserved appointment as the University Chief Executive Officer.

In a letter, signed by the Registrar of FUTA, Dr. (Mrs.) Funke Oyebade, she said “I write on behalf of the Chairman of Council, Brigadier-General Raji Rasaki, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Adebisi Balogun, Senate and the entire staff and students of the Federal University of Technology, Akure to congratulate you very warmly on your recent appointment as the Vice-Chancellor of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, Ondo State. That you are able to attain the very peak of your career in grand style is a testimony of your brilliance, hardwork, total devotion, doggedness, determination, resourcefulness and confidence in the ultimate reward of good by the Almighty God. While acknowledging that the task ahead is indeed a very challenging one, we are confident that you have what it takes to make a distinctive success of the great assignment as Vice-Chancellor of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko.”

Dr. Oyebade concluded the letter by praying God to continue to endow him with good health, the wisdom, knowledge and courage required to cope with the exigencies of the position.
