The Applied Geophysics department is one of the academic departments in the School of Earth & Mineral Sciences. The programme has been designed to train and encourage scientists in areas of Applied Geophysics, realizing that science is the bedrock of technological development and national growth. It offers the Bachelors degree of technology (B.Tech.) and Post-graduate Diploma in Applied Geophysics; Masters and Doctoral degree in Exploration Geophysics.
