Candidates seeking admission into the five year programme in the Project Management Option should posses the WASC, SSCE or GCE (O/L) or NECO, or equivalent with credit in five subjects including English Language, Mathematics, Economics, Physics plus at least a pass in Chemistry or Biology/Agricultural Science in not more than two sittings. In addition, applicants must obtain an acceptable pass in Universities Matriculation Examination (UME)
UME Subjects
English Language, Mathematics, and any two of Physics, Chemistry and Economics
Applicants should posses in addition to (i) above GCE (A/Level) in at least two subjects or a National Diploma in relevant areas of Physical Sciences, Social Sciences, Engineering and Management Sciences with a minimum of Upper Credit from a recognized institution. The two A/Level subjects must be among the five subjects specified in (i) above.
Duration of Programme
As in all programmes in FUTA, a student should under normal circumstances spend five academic sessions to obtain a Bachelor’s degree in any of the disciplines in the School. However, if a student fails to graduate within the normal number of sessions, he/she will not be allowed to exceed a total of 7 academic sessions.
