FUTA TEAM DWEP QUALIFIES FOR THE SEMIFINALS IN NAIROBI, KENYA.


HULT PRIZE : FUTA TEAM DWEP QUALIFIES FOR THE SEMIFINALS IN NAIROBI, KENYA.
Team DWEP from Enactus FUTA has been invited by the Hult Prize Foundation to participate in the Nairobi Summit and will be competing with other teams from across Africa for a spot at the Hult Prize Global Finals.
The team members are Olowolaju Boluwatife
Animal Production and health dept, Joshua Benedict, Metallurgical and materials engineering dept, David-Oluwole Ifeoluwa
Food science and technology dept, Aiyesa Victor,Mechanical engineering dept, and Agbeleye Mercy, Biology dept.
After the successful completion of the Hult
Prize FUTA On-Campus event in February, the winning team from FUTA invitation to compete at The Hult Prize Semi-final in Nairobi is based on the Quality of it's presentation at the National level .
The Nairobi Summit will take place between June 2nd - June 4th, 2023
Also Team Cocozzy, 1st runner-up at Hult Prize FUTA, has also been waitlisted for the 2023 HULT Prize Quarter- finals.
Some members of the organizing have also been invited to the Nairobi Summit.
The competing teams from FUTA are currently undergoing intense preparations and trainings in order to proceed to the next round of the competition.
