Employment Status of Alumni at 100%
One greatest achievements of DRP-WACS is the fact that all its Alumni are 100% gainfully employed and well placed in reputable organisations. Some of our graduates are consultants to international organizations such as the World Meteorological Organization (WMO), the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) and the World Bank (WB).
Currently, ten of our Alumni are lecturers in Universities across West Africa, out of which four are already Senior Lecturers and one is the incumbent Dean of his faculty in a Polytechnic. Some of them are Senior Researchers at International Research Institutes. Some are Chief Meteorologists at Federal Government MDAs such as Ministry of Fisheries & Water Resources and National Meteorological Agencies across West Africa. We also have some as Senior Scientific Officers at CAR NASRDA, WMO Regional Office and even WASCAL Competence Centre in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso.
