The Staff Secondary School FUTA has celebrated its outstanding students who performed excellently in the West African Senior School Certificate and National Examination Council Examinations (WASSCE/NECO) at the Founders Day Anniversary Celebrations. While congratulating the awardees, the principal, Mrs. Folake Adekanmbi, commended the efforts of the teachers and said that without them, there cannot be FUTA Secondary School. She said the school had attained enviable feats both within and outside the state due to the hard work, diligence and doggedness of both staff and students. She also commended the parents for their support and cooperation towards providing material resources needed for training the students. The Parents Teachers Association (PTA) Chairman, Deacon Sam Aroge also appreciated the efforts of the parents, students, and their teachers who through thick and thin raised the students whom he described as the best he had ever encountered. He further pleaded with the awardees to know what they are doing, as the award IS a challenge for them to do more, for themselves, their parents and the society at large.
